This position will be employed through Noor Staffing Group.

At Macmillan Learning, we are passionate about creating great learning tools and resources for students. We are looking for a Administrative Coordinator, Learning Resources Group (Contractor)  to work 30-40 hours per week in our Learning Resources Group (LRG), which comprises several teams working in content development, assessment development, permissions, art and design, content management, and workflow optimization. This is a 6-month contract position and will be reviewed for possible extension beyond that point based on volume of work.

The Administrative Coordinator, Learning Resources Group (Contractor) provides vital administrative support to LRG team members, including Development Editors, Media Editors, Permissions Editors, Content Project Managers, contractors, and other team members responsible for developing products for the Humanities and Social Sciences course areas. This position also facilitates interactions with key cross-functional groups, such as Accounts Payable, Finance, Legal, and Marketing, as well as with external collaborators, including authors, vendors, freelancers, instructors, and students. The role involves performing essential administrative tasks, including running reports, processing payments, maintaining spreadsheets and logs, and updating data in company systems. By addressing miscellaneous needs and challenges that arise, the Learning Resources Group (Contractor) helps ensure the smooth daily operations of the Learning Resource Group.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Communicating proactively across teams to gather information, answer questions, and resolve problems.
  • Coding and processing invoices.
  • Ordering payments for authors and vendors.
  • Ordering gift cards and payments for market research participants.
  • Ordering access to Macmillan Learning digital products for authors, customers, and colleagues.
  • Creating tickets in Jira to facilitate project management and errata.
  • Preparing and updating spreadsheets, logs, and other tracking documents.
  • Preparing request documents for contracts and agreements.
  • Routing documents through DocuSign.
  • Onboarding and maintaining contractors via a third-party management tool.
  • Managing account access for employees and contractors in various office systems.
  • Updating documentation in Confluence.
  • Other administrative tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma.
  • Willingness to commit to the role for a minimum of six months.
  • Experience providing administrative support in an office environment.
  • Experience in a deadline-driven job with deliverables.
  • Project Management -Ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks appropriately, staying organized, communicating progress, and meeting deadlines.

Pay Rate: $27/ hour
Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Assignment Date : September 15, 2025 – March 15, 2026 (with possibility of extension)

Location: Boston, MA, or New York, NY, with a requirement of at least one day in the office per week and additional days working from home. Boston candidates preferred.
