Job Description:
Position Salary Range: $57,900 - $65,000, per year, DOE
Essential Duties:
Program Development & Delivery (35%)
- Support the design, coordination, and delivery of entrepreneurial programming and special projects.
- Manage program work plans, daily operations, and award distribution processes.
- Plan and execute outreach, engagement activities, and pilots to increase student-athlete participation.
- Track and evaluate program goals, outcomes, and funded projects, recommending improvements as needed.
Events, Marketing & Communications (25%)
- Coordinate signature events such as Demo Days, workshops, and information sessions.
- Implement outreach campaigns and recruitment strategies for participants, volunteers, and partners.
- Develop and distribute communications (newsletters, social media, website, flyers); maintain contact databases and engagement metrics.
- Represent SPORTx and the Venture Studio at entrepreneurship events, NIL panels, and conferences.
Operations & Administration (25%)
- Oversee collision space operations, including reservations, inventory, safety, and site coordination.
- Partner with financial staff on purchasing, expenditures, and budget tracking.
- Recruit, onboard, and support student workers, interns, and volunteers, providing feedback and development opportunities.
- Collect, track, and report program data, performance metrics, and financial information.
Partnerships & Engagement (10%)
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships across ASU, with coaches, administrators, corporate partners, and sponsors to support program growth.
- Assist in carrying out the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of SPORTx initiatives.
Other (5%)
- Support ASU and community initiatives aligned with Edson E+I's mission.
- Contribute to special assignments or emerging priorities as identified by leadership.

Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business, entrepreneurship, sports management, or a related field.
- Lived experience as a collegiate or professional athlete.
- Strong understanding of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) legislation and its implications for collegiate athletics.
- Proficiency in CRM software, budgeting tools, and project management systems.
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience in planning and managing activities and establishing priorities.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with peers, community members, and stakeholders.
- Experience in work that requires attention to detail. Self-organized and reliable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of concurrent program coordination.
Working Environment:
- Work duties are performed in diverse settings, including: SPORTx offices at Mountain America Stadium (Tempe, AZ), various event/program locations, and a remote work environment.
- This position may be involved in supporting various events and programs. This can include setup and breakdown of materials and other equipment that may require lifting or handling of moderately heavy items.
- Some domestic travel to various program locations may be required.
- Regular activities require the ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to the resolution of conflicts.
- May require a flexible working schedule in order to accommodate projects and initiatives, and student-athlete schedules.
- Regular communication to perform essential duties.
Flexible Work Options:
- Alternative work schedules can include staggered start and stop times.
- Hybrid work is an arrangement where employees spend a minimum of 60% of their regular workweek at their primary ASU work location. Dean or vice president-level approval is required.
- Full remote work is spending every workday at a site other than assigned ASU work location. This arrangement granted when the criteria in the flexible work arrangement policy are met. Executive vice president-level approval is required.
