Job Summary  | Administrative Services Asst/UKHC provides high-level administrative and operational support to faculty, staff, and Research team within the Rheumatology and Nephrology Divisions at the University of Kentucky.

This role is crucial in supporting the department’s daily operations, including, but not limited to coordinating schedules, calendar management, managing personnel files, assisting with Procard, shopping cart and Concur financial processes, making travel arrangements, assisting in credentialing processes, vacation tracking and facilitating outreach initiatives. The position will primarily support the Rheumatology Chief and Research Team, assist in coordinating Nephrology outreach efforts, maintain faculty and APP personnel records, and ensure the smooth functioning of office and event logistics.

This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple priorities while ensuring the department runs efficiently and effectively.

In addition to administrative tasks, this role involves collaborating with various teams to support the department’s goals, including outreach and community engagement efforts, budget tracking, and assisting with faculty and APP human resources functions. The Administrative Support Associate II is also expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism, especially when dealing with sensitive personnel and patient information.
