Posting Context Statement  | Join the Independent Study in Idaho (ISI) team as an Administrative Specialist I and play a key role in supporting students, faculty, and staff. This position handles a variety of administrative tasks, including managing records, responding to inquiries, processing exams, supporting incarcerated learners, and maintaining departmental systems. As a first point of contact, you’ll ensure clear, accurate, and confidential communication.

Position Overview  | Assist with administrative tasks including preparing correspondence, maintaining records, maintaining calendars, monitoring office inventory, ordering supplies when necessary and completing various assignments as needed. This position may be the first point of contact for the department, and is tasked with ensuring that information flows accurately, efficiently and effectively while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.

Duties may include: Manage records and documents Perform general administrative support tasks such as proofreading and receiving and distributing mail; may handle cash Greet visitors, callers and/or email inquiries, determining nature and purpose and directing them to specific destinations/individuals/information Other duties as assigned
