Position Summary Information
Summary | Provide support to the Clinical Coordinator, Director of Clinical Education and Director of Academic Operations in all tasks related to the planning and operation of the Speech Language Pathology Clinical Education Center (CEC), as well as assistance with offsite clinical education within the College of Health Science. Assists with other administrative responsibilities including but not limited to admissions, data entry, and event coordination by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities | 1. Complete multiple administrative tasks related to CEC clients including initial and ongoing contact, completion/verification of paperwork, and scheduling.2. Maintain the CEC master schedule for all therapy rooms and sessions.3. Create, collect, and maintain all forms and records relating to student clinicians, and assist in the creation of student clinician materials in Drop Box or any other systems used.4. Schedule all reviews and ratings for Director of Clinical Education and maintain all client satisfaction surveys.5. Prepare all facility and equipment needs such as reading materials, educational information, computers, therapy materials, and anything needed for support groups and other events.6. Assist in upgrades and trainings related to educational technology such as Calipso.7. Train and supervise undergraduate student volunteers at the CEC, including center policies and procedures as well as HIPAA compliance..8. Maintain current contacts for partner clinical education sites including clinics, schools, and rehabilitation facilities.9. Assist with offsite clinical education communication, confirmations, contract process, and provision of all required documentation.10. Assist with all undergraduate and graduate student paperwork including clinical hours logs, preceptor evaluations, COC, background checks, and medical/TB test results.11. Assist the Clinical Coordinator, Director of Clinical Education, and Director of Academic Operations with maintaining relationships with preceptors such as greeting cards, newsletters, and invitations to graduation ceremonies.
12. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities | This position could be responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to part-time Student Workers, in order to complete office work assignments.

Ability to supervise and train staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. Excellent telephone courtesy, knowledge, and experience. Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures. Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns. Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
Education and/or Experience | Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
