Highlights

Serve at least 60 Wayne County students and families in the Juntos Program.

Provide monthly one-on-one Success Coaching to 30 enrolled youth selected with school staff collaboration.
Coordinate volunteer recruitment, supervision, and participation in workshops on study skills, STEM, college readiness, and life skills.
Ensure all volunteers complete criminal background checks according to district and 4-H policies.
Organize student field trips to colleges, local summer camps, and Juntos events including the Summer Academy.
Participate in statewide Juntos coordinator calls and maintain regular communication with program staff.
Must have an Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s preferred, along with bilingual Spanish-English skills, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and dependability.
Compensation ranges from $20 to $23 per hour with a full-time 40-hour weekly schedule plus some possible Saturdays; valid NC driver’s license required.
