Job Summary
Drexel University is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join an innovative team dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and applicant support to potential students interested in attending a comprehensive global research university ranked among the top in the nation. Admissions Coordinators provide personalized support and timely information to prospective students throughout the application and enrollment process. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate with a diverse population of prospective students regarding program requirements and provide rapid evaluation of previously earned credit for transferability into a large portfolio of undergraduate degree programs.
Essential Functions
  • Maintain a deep understanding of admissions policies and procedures pertaining to non-traditional undergraduate populations.
  • Communicate with prospective students by telephone, email, text, and chat to assist them in making informed decisions by providing timely and accurate information during the information-gathering and application process.
  • Provide both accurate and efficient evaluation of previously earned credits to determine transferability into Drexel University programs.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, other stakeholder groups within enrollment management, and the university community.
  • Utilize CRM to record and document products of work and interactions with prospective students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer facing role.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends and possible holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to be self-motivated.
  • Experience with Slate & Salesforce CRM.

Additional Information
This position is classified as Non-Exempt, grade H. Compensation for this grade ranges from 17.14 - $25.71 per hour. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
