| Primary Purpose | The JD Admissions Counselor (Temporary) reports to the Associate Dean of Admissions. The Admissions Counselor (Temporary) performs duties relative to the law school admissions application process including data entry of applicant information, responding to applicant inquiries via telephone, e-mail and in person, as well as distributing information and providing counsel regarding the law school application process generally, and the law school specifically. The admissions counselor works with the Director of Admissions and the Assistant Director of Admissions and Diversity Initiatives as well. |

Sitting for long periods of time. Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Position requires in person work in office, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Ability to travel, work evenings and weekends, and must be able to drive. Position could require 20-25% travel during peak recruitment time (September – November). Valid driver’s license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the University’s fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University’s insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record. |
| Hiring Range | $19.58 - $32.30 per hour. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. |
