Position Overview
The Office of Admissions, at the University of North Texas, is seeking to hire an Admissions Processing Lead, for the admission of prospective students, under the direction of the Processing Supervisor.

This position is responsible for the dissemination of information to students, staff, and faculty concerning all aspects of Graduate admission and policies and procedures of the Toulouse Graduate School. The Senior International Admissions Lead will work directly with international students during the application process for admission to a Masters or Doctoral degree program at UNT. This position is also responsible for data entry of application materials and transcripts into the Enterprise Information System (EIS), verification of authenticity of academic credentials and accreditation of schools, review and evaluation of international transcripts, and generation of GPA evaluations.

Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from High School or GED equivalent and three years of general office or clerical experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.
* Skill in composing routine letters and preparing reports.

Job Duties
Serve as university and staff liaison for all aspects of graduate international admissions by providing timely and accurate assistance to the university faculty, staff, and students on required international admission documents and processes, when necessary. Prioritize issues that arise with international admissions.Assist with intake and data entry of graduate international applications and transcripts for admission. Provide timely, accurate, and consistent high quality data entry for new applications and other required admission documents.Provide course by course evaluation of foreign transcripts on currently enrolled, or incoming, students for transfer credit articulation, as necessary. This includes looking for duplicates, exclusion of specific course types, and credit hour conversions. Process graduate, international applications and credential evaluation by computing and entering grade point averages (GPAs), evaluations of past degrees, and prepare evaluation for transmission through application processing services (GradCAS). Determine, in a timely manner, degree equivalency, foreign school accreditation, and verification of official foreign documents. Answer general questions, when necessary, concerning graduate admission and graduate school policies, procedures, and practices. Must maintain current knowledge of policies and procedures in order to convey to students, faculty, and staff. Enter data in Enterprise Information System (EIS) for GPA calculations and school information. Update checklists as necessary.Maintain a high level of professional communication with students, schools, and staff through email or communication services (SalesForce) regarding necessary documentation to complete the graduate admission process. Complete additional duties as assigned.
