Job Summary/Basic Function
Position provides advising and other services for a U.S. Department of Education funded TRIO Student Support Services-STEM grant which serves 120 low-income, first-generation students and/or students with disabilities with STEM majors per year.
Required Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or education-related field from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Two years of professional experience advising students
  • Experience working with first-generation, low-income students and/or students with disabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
  • Master’s degree
  • Experience working with a TRIO grant program
  • Experience working in a higher education setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various groups/individuals
