Position Summary
The AI Training & Enablement Specialist owns an assigned function within the organization's AI training and enablement work, for example training, departmental enablement, communications, adoption, or an emerging program or platform. Working under general direction, the Specialist independently assesses needs within that function, designs and builds the enablement solutions and learning experiences it requires, creates original content, and evaluates and improves effectiveness over time. The role requires the consistent exercise of independent judgment: translating technical AI capabilities for the intended audience, selecting the approach and format, and deciding how the work is structured and measured. The Specialist applies responsible AI, data privacy, and compliance standards to everything the role designs and delivers.
Compensation
This role is an exempt position with a Targeted Salary Range of 82,506 to $118,345 annually.
Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.
Essential Functions
- Design, develop, and maintain the enablement programs, learning journeys, and resources for the assigned function, tailored to different business units and skill levels.
- Translate technical AI capabilities into practical enablement by partnering with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Product, and IT, using independent judgment to decide what to convey and how.
- Design and facilitate workshops, webinars, hands-on labs, office hours, and other sessions, adapting content and delivery based on audience needs and feedback.
- Assess needs across teams and determine the priorities, gaps, and approach needed to close them, aligned with business goals and AI maturity levels.
- Create original content and resources, such as playbooks, FAQs, job aids, guides, tutorials, communications, and assessments, exercising professional judgment over structure, format, and modality.
- Build and maintain the knowledge base for the assigned function, keeping content accurate, current, and easy to find.
- Incorporate responsible AI, data-handling, and compliance standards into the work, using judgment to tailor guidance to each audience.
- Stay current on new AI tools and features being introduced across the organization and determine what updates the assigned function needs as a result.
- Analyze AI usage trends and audience feedback to identify what is working, diagnose adoption barriers, and improve effectiveness.
- Deliver the enablement components of AI rollouts, including readiness, reinforcement, and launch materials.
- Define and track measures of effectiveness (adoption, proficiency, satisfaction, question themes) and use the findings to improve the work.
- Stay current with AI trends, technologies, and enablement best practices to keep the work relevant and effective.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, preferred Instructional Design, Education, Communications, Information Systems, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Masters Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, preferred Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Data/AI-related discipline, or related field.
- Minimum three years’ experience in training, enablement, instructional design, technical writing, customer education, or a related function, including experience supporting adoption of digital tools in a fast-changing environment.
- Preferred: relevant certs in learning design, facilitation, Microsoft 365, or AI tooling.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work well independently or within a team.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent interpersonal communication skills required.
- Must be able to handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Experience supporting enterprise tool rollouts (Microsoft 365/Copilot, knowledge platforms, workflow tools).
- Exposure to regulated environments (financial services preferred) and training aligned to policy/compliance requirements.
- Experience building and maintaining knowledge bases (SharePoint/Teams or similar).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications required.

Requirements
Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.
Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio, e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
Environmental: Office environment – moderate noise, no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
Mental: Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow.This role requires effective adaptation to workplace stressors, including customer service complaints, security responsibilities, and competing priorities. Must be able to adhere to process protocol. Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.
Schedules: Work is primarily performed during the business week, Monday - Friday.Travel: 5% or less
