Job Summary 
The Asset Preparation Specialist provides department-wide support in the following areas of content production for Accelerated Reader and myON: curation, text preparation, quiz development and book production. In all things, they exemplify the company values and the department charter, apply lean principles, and let data drive decisions while putting people first. 

In this role as an Asset Preparation Specialist, you will:
•    Use OCR tools to extract text from PDFs, reformat text to align with Renaissance guidelines, and generate ATOS data for titles selected for AR quiz production. 
•    Enter book data according to Renaissance guidelines.
•    Convert physical books to PDF format using shearing and scanning equipment.
•    Work with PDFs, audio files, and book texts to create digital myON books.
•    Use reports to monitor AR and myON production goals and workflows, and prioritize work accordingly.  
•    Work collaboratively with quiz and book production teams.
•    Attend and participate in regular weekly and monthly team meetings.
•    Assist with projects.

For this role as an Asset Preparation Specialist, you should have:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • The ability to work out of the Wisconsin Rapids, WI location at least one day per week. 
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Capacity to learn new software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Proofreading skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft software applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.

The below compensation range is based on national market data and may vary by experience and location. 
Salary Range
$16.77—$23.06 USD
