Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.  | Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of general professional experience in an office or administrative setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in reading and interpreting academic curriculum and technical documentation. Evidence of organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) and comfort working in complex systems Experience working independently and collaboratively Current Texas State employee

Job Description  | The Assistant Degree Works Auditor supports the accuracy and integrity of degree audits by gathering and organizing curriculum updates to ensure alignment with the academic catalog. This role assists in scribing program requirements in Degree Works, supports testing and troubleshooting of audits, and acts as a point of contact for collecting audit-related changes from colleges and departments. The Assistant Degree Works Auditor works closely with the Systems Analyst to maintain timely and accurate audit updates.

Job Duties  | This position is responsible for collecting approved program and catalog changes and translating those changes into organized documentation that can be used to update degree audits in Degree Works. The Assistant Auditor performs basic scribing and simple updates to audit blocks. They assist with the audit testing process and collaborate with departments and advising teams to ensure audit requirements match the official catalog language. The role supports the Systems Analyst by maintaining change logs, flagging potential issues, and ensuring consistency across audit cycles.
