| Job Summary | Reporting to the Assistant Vice President in the Office of Institutional Success and Decision Support (OISDS), the Assistant Director collaborates closely with OISDS team members and campus-wide stakeholders to provide access to institutional data in formats that support effective decision-making. This role oversees the design, development, and deployment of university analytics solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights. Key responsibilities include supervising a Business Analyst; serving as a bridge between technical teams and institutional stakeholders to advance data-informed strategies; leading and contributing to the development of interactive dashboards and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI); managing a portfolio of highly visible and mission-critical data products; ensuring data quality and integrity; and supporting OISDS data literacy initiatives. A successful candidate partners with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective business intelligence and decision-support solutions. In addition, the Assistant Director contributes to broader strategic priorities, including the development of a decision-support hub and collaboration on initiatives led by the University Initiatives team in support of the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident to meet USCIS eligibility requirements. Hybrid/Flex Remote Work Options Hybrid/flex remote work options are available. The employee is expected to have a regular weekly presence in the office. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice.
