Villanova University is hiring a part-time Assistant Director for Career Education & Student Initiatives to support the O’Donnell Center for Professional Development within the Villanova School of Business. The role involves leading career education programs, fostering student leadership through business societies, expanding employer and alumni partnerships, and contributing to the professional development curriculum to enhance business students' career readiness.
Highlights
Design and deliver career exploration and professional development programs for business students.
Advise and support student business societies and their leaders, managing collaborations and resource allocation.
Lead employer engagement and manage the Annual Corporate Sponsorship Program to connect students with industry.
Assist with professional development curriculum including Backpack-to-Briefcase and Summer Business Institute courses.
Maintain communications and marketing for career development initiatives through various platforms including social media and Handshake.
Requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of professional experience, preferably with student development and employer relations.
Proficient with technology tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Banner, Canva, and social media.
Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Human Resources, Business, or related fields, with 4 years of experience.
Part-time position, approximately 18-21 hours per week, generally 3 days on campus with some evening/weekend commitments.
Hourly wage range is $24.52 to $33.98, with final salary based on qualifications and budget.
