Overview of Assistant Director, Community Partnerships for the College of Nursing
Purdue University Northwest's College of Nursing is seeking an Assistant Director for Community Partnerships. PNW’s College of Nursing is a designated NLN Center of Nursing Excellence. The recognition is given to nursing programs that demonstrate sustained excellence in faculty development, nursing education research, and in student learning and professional development.

Work Schedule:
  • Typically 8:00am – 5:00pm with occasional evening work; will flex work schedule to accommodate.
  • This position does have the opportunity for a flexible work schedule but does require a strong on-campus presence. 

Duties and Responsibilities of Assistant Director, Community Partnerships for the College of Nursing
  • Create, maintain, and manage the College of Nursing’s existing relationships with hospitals, healthcare organizations and community colleges, as well as onboard new healthcare facilities (business to business marketing) and create a pipeline for prospective nursing students and/or clinical placement sites. 
  • Revitalize the PNW College of Nursing market plan to build awareness and drive inquiries to the College of Nursing programs.
  • The market approach will include an integrated strategy to build awareness and increase consideration of the College of Nursing’s online programs among prospective students.  
  • Facilitate lead generation and inquiries through events and marketing across the territory.
  • Support admissions operations through educating qualified leads on the College of Nursing’s online offerings, and guide interested parties to the application process.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing and admissions efforts; provide outcome reporting; utilize analytics to monitor and improve marketing and admissions performance. 
  • This position will involve regional travel.

Education of Assistant Director, Community Partnerships for the College of Nursing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field  
  • Master’s degree in above is preferred

Experience of Assistant Director, Community Partnerships for the College of Nursing
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing and recruiting
  • Higher education experience in the above is preferred
