| Job Summary/Basic Function: | The Assistant Director, Medical Student Career Services in the Office of Student Successprovides individualized early and progressive career exploration to help students secure a successful residency placement. This position provides comprehensive, developmentally appropriate advising and programmatic support for medical students throughout the four years of the curriculum (from matriculation through graduation). This position plays a central role in helping students explore career options, understand specialty expectations, and understand factors that prepare them for competitive residency applications. This position will work in a team-based environment with the Director of Medical Student Career Services, focusing on assisting students with early assembly and updates of key residency application materials. This position utilizes a data-driven, student-centered approach and collaborates with various stakeholders. |

40 % Early Career Advising and residency services: Develop and support programing intended for early career development and identity formation from recently matriculated students to the end of the foundation phase (M2 year)

| Working Conditions | This individual must be able to work effectively with a wide variety of people. The job requires regular communication with students, physicians, faculty administrators, alumni, and volunteers—handling of sensitive and confidential information in compliance with FERPA and institutional policy. Occasional evening and weekend work will be needed to support special OSAA/OSS events. Must have a valid driver’s license.
