As an assistant director of admission, you will travel extensively to strategically identified areas, representing SCAD to prospective students and fostering ongoing professional and institutional relationships. This includes participation in school-specific initiatives, information sessions, college fairs, conferences, and other recruitment events. You will follow-up with prospective students via phone or email to discuss their interests and inquiries into university opportunities and keep accurate recruitment records.
In this role, you will conduct scheduled one-on-one appointments with prospective students and meet with students visiting the Atlanta location. Among other duties, you will strive to increase positive awareness of SCAD to support and facilitate successful college search processes for students. You will also demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to travel extensively
- Willing to travel extensively and work flexible hours
Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
Travel required: More than 50%
Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
