Description of Work  | Oversee all aspects of recruiting as well as camps and clinics; including but not limited to official and unofficial visits, contacts and evaluations, local sports clubs, speaking engagements, and donation requests. Responsible for approving official visits, reviewing related expenses, analyzing associated documents, policies, and procedures. Oversee review process for outside speaking engagements, donation/fundraising requests, and promotional activity requests. Provide recruiting related education and interpretations to coaches, staff, student-athletes, and fans/boosters and assist with NCAA and Big Ten Conference waiver requests and violation reports. This position will primarily work with NCAA Bylaw 13 and assist with Bylaw 11 and others as needed.

Minimum Required Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree and six months experience working in an Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance setting; experience as a student worker, volunteer, or intern/extern considered. Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA rules. Excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and organizational skills.
