Job Summary
Dedicated to the implementation of branding and communication strategies for Purdue Athletics and the John Purdue Club. Works closely with each department, will serve as the project liaison within the organization to ensure clear, consistent communication and branding efforts to produce each element on time.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for developing concepts, artwork and production materials for all Purdue Athletics graphic design projects.
- Work closely with all internal departments including, but not limited to Marketing, Promotions, Ticket Sales and Services, Strategic Communications, Development, Recruiting and Facilities.
- Creative pieces may includesocial media graphics, digital ads, brochures, flyers, ticket artwork, web graphics, wall graphics, etc.
- Develops working relationships with outside vendors, such as printers, sign/banner manufacturers, graphic reproduction companies, multi-media suppliers, etc.
- Oversee production of jobs to ensure quality standards are met.

Purdue Boilermakers Athletics What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Graphic Design, Visual Design, Interface Graphics or related field of study
- Two (2) years’ experience in graphics design
Skills needed:
- Excellent graphics design/software skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) in an apple environment; Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Adobe After Effects experience a plus.
- Photography experience is a plus.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage several projects at one time.
- Experience in fast paced environment is essential.
- A strong understanding of sports preferred.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, including written and verbal, and have the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently and self-manage project flow.
- Team player with the ability to work well in a team setting and across diverse groups, organizations and departments.
- Proactive, energetic, curious, creative thinker, trouble shooter and problem solver.
- Willing to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays and game nights if required.
- Must be able to provide a portfolio which highlights a variety of projects including identity design, advertising and/or page layout.
