Assistant Director of Enrollment Full Description

As an assistant director of enrollment, you will strive to meet your assigned region’s enrollment goals by providing individual support to students, parents, and educators at various stages of the admission process. You will receive and process documents necessary for admission and scholarship evaluation, prepare files for review, and make acceptance recommendations. Among other duties, you will evaluate transcripts; continually research and develop your knowledge of educational ladders, grading scales, and GPA conversions; and become well-versed in the education systems of your region. Responsibilities include financial document assessments for I-20 form issuance, service as an intermediary between students and the International Student Services Office (ISSO), and the operation of Banner and Salesforce systems for document and data tracking.

In this role, you will regularly follow up with potential students regarding application and enrollment completion, and encourage matriculation and housing reservation payments. You will collaborate with other departments to plan and execute events and serve as a host. Responsibilities include the submission of monthly caseload reports, maintenance of an individual travel calendar, and management of travel information in Salesforce. Among other duties, you will work with various departments to plan events and schedule visits to strategically identified top high schools, community colleges, four-year colleges and universities, government institutions, nonprofit organizations, art-related institutions, and other organizations of interest. You will also foster relationships with these organizations to raise awareness of SCAD.

During events, you will deliver creative classroom presentations, encourage students to visit the university and apply, and follow up with interested students at designated intervals according to the communication plan. You will assist with planning and executing on-campus events, lead tours, and meet with prospective students. You will also cover LiveAgent shifts, participate in evening and weekend special events, and organize and host Educator Forums. Among other duties, you will attend training sessions, mentor new staff, review team meeting minutes, and provide regular feedback to leadership.
