Assistant Director, Student Engagement Full Description

Position Summary:

NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director, Student Engagement in the Undergraduate College. The Assistant Director will support NYC’s student club and its leaders in planning and executing professional development programming. Support first-year students in the NYU London Global Gateway (LGG) program as they transition to college. Partner closely with stakeholders in the Office of Student Engagement and the Undergraduate College to implement existing programs and continuously enhance them in response to evolving student needs. Align club advising with support for LGG first-year students to strengthen community-building and professional development opportunities while abroad to help ease the transition to the NYC campus. Collect data from NYC and LGG clubs; analyze and track data to identify trends.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years relevant experience, including student engagement and organizations, leadership development, advising, or career development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate will also have excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, strategic planning, management, and systems skills, along with demonstrated ability to design and implement programs with measurable outcomes, collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and navigate shifting priorities. Strong proficiency in using technology to collect and analyze data is essential.
