Highlights
  • Manage major financial operations: receivables, billing, asset management, general accounting, month-end close, PCI Compliance, Merchant Services, and cash management.
  • Lead departmental LanTechs and oversee system security administration including NCID coordination and NCFS security.
  • Maintain general ledger structures and ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls and audit standards.
  • Lead financial reporting, reconciliation, and internal control certifications for the UNC System Office.
  • Develop financial policies, provide training, and lead process and system improvements for efficiency and compliance.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of three direct and five indirect reports in accounting, asset management, and receivables.
  • Serve as senior liaison to campus departments, UNC System committees, and state agencies, representing financial system and security matters.
  • Requires a post-Baccalaureate degree with 3+ years experience or a Bachelor’s with 5+ years related experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include CPA certification, PCI Professional designation, management experience, and familiarity with UNC System policies.
  • Compensation range is $150,000 to $157,000 annually.
