Job Duties	Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of research compliance programs, including: Human subjects research (IRB) Animal care and use (IACUC) Biosafety, radiation, and laboratory safety Research security, export control, and conflict of interest/commitment Research integrity and misconduct investigations Provide strategic guidance on compliance issues to senior leadership, faculty, and research staff. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including but not limited to NIH, NSF, DOE, USDA, DOD, and Texas regulations. Partner with university leadership to strengthen research security, including implementation of state and federal requirements related to foreign influence, cybersecurity, and data protection. Develop and deliver education, training, and outreach programs to promote a culture of compliance and ethical research conduct. Supervise compliance staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with university offices such as Legal Affairs, Internal Audit, and Risk Management. Represent Texas State in external audits, site visits, and interactions with federal and state agencies
