How can you make an impact? 
McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational resources, is looking for an Associate Academic Designer, Custom Science for our School division. As the Associate Academic Designer, Custom Science, you will edit and write existing K-12 science content to match various states and school district standards. You will be on a team of academic designers who specialize in all aspects of print and digital content development.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. This is a Project Status Worker (PSW) role with and end date of 06/30/2026.

What you will be doing:   
  • Working with a cross functional team to develop a customized version of McGraw Hill’s science programs.
  • Editing print and digital materials for use in classrooms.
  • Researching and understanding state standards prior to product development and correlating educational materials to national and state standards and frameworks.
  • Tracking and following approved workflows at all stages of product development.
  • Monitoring and maintaining schedules to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Collaborating with fellow team members about project progress and developing solutions to address issues.
 
We’re looking for someone with: 
  • Bachelor's degree in science, education, or a related field.
  • Experience with science curriculum and standards.
  • Exceptional grammar and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Previous experience in education, editorial, or curriculum development is a plus.

The pay range for this position is between $41,200 – $60,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
