Strategic Research Leadership- Coordinate pursuit of interdisciplinary funding through targeted collaborative grants and management of the McIntire-Stennis program- Work with OVPR grant proposal staff to target specific grant opportunities for faculty.- Coordinate advancement of research with research program and facilities directors1. RUBE Lab Director2. Director of Research Forests3. Spatial Analysis Lab Director4. Spear St. Forest Ecosystems Lab Director- Oversee opportunities for professional development pertaining to scholarship and identify pathways to support faculty scholarshipc. Admin- Liaison with Office of the Vice President for Research and UVM research institutes (e.g. Gund, Water, Agroecology, LCOM centers)- Liaison to SPA 2.0, RBSC, IRB, legal, etc.- Oversee facilities management with RSENR Facilities Managerd. Graduate Program- Liaison with Graduate College- Coordinate with Grad Program Directors (RSENR NR Grad Program Coordinator and MLS / TLCS Program Coordinator)- Oversee grad admissions, recruitment, retention- Oversee scholarships and graduate funding opportunities
