How you'll contribute to our mission
We’re looking for a strategic, driven communications leader to elevate Frontline’s brand reputation, strengthen our relationship with K-12 stakeholders, and build a world-class customer marketing engine. This leader will shape our PR strategy, secure meaningful earned media, expand our awards program, and design customer marketing programs that showcase impact, deepen loyalty, and drive adoption.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategic storytelling, customer advocacy, and disciplined program execution.
How you’ll drive success
Public Relations & Brand Reputation
- Lead an integrated PR strategy that positions Frontline as the trusted category leader in K-12 school administration technology.
- Shape authentic narratives, steward media relationships, and secure meaningful earned coverage across national, industry, local, and trade outlets.
- Own award strategy and execution — from identification to submission to amplification across channels.
- Partner with product, executive leadership, and customer teams to elevate company milestones, innovations, and stories that matter.
Customer Marketing & Advocacy
- Build and scale a world-class customer marketing engine that accelerates adoption, strengthens loyalty, and expands impact.
- Lead customer storytelling — from case studies and video testimonials to reference communities and customer champions.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to activate compelling customer narratives and targeted campaigns that influence renewals, adoption, and expansion.
- Define and measure success through customer impact KPIs: engagement, adoption lift, and contribution to growth.
What you bring to help us grow
- A seasoned communications leader with deep experience in PR, customer marketing, or related functions — ideally in tech, SaaS, education, or mission-driven organizations.
- A gifted storyteller with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Proven success generating high-value earned media and growing customer advocacy programs.
- A builder mindset — you design programs from the ground up and scale them with discipline and clarity.
- A collaborative spirit and comfort influencing across teams and senior leaders.
What you’ll need to thrive
- 7+ years of experience in PR, communications, customer marketing, or closely related roles.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing earned media strategy.
- Experience crafting and managing customer advocacy or lifecycle marketing programs.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage priorities with precision and speed.
- Strong writing portfolio across press materials, executive communications, thought leadership, and customer stories.
- Leadership or team management experience is a plus.
