Job Summary  | Under the supervision of KUER and PBS Utah lead engineers, provides engineering and technological support to KUER, Avanza and PBS Utah.
Responsibilities  | Duties include: Assist in maintaining and securing necessary repairs and upgrades for audio field studio and post-production equipment, including proper care and storage, preventive maintenance and repair and documentation for all equipment Assist in ensuring that KUER, Avanza, PBS Utah and all associated signals have a high quality technical and aesthetic audio Gain an understanding into how to work with and select equipment for providing highest professional broadcast quality May assist production staff in proper operation of audio production equipment and studios Assist the engineer with studio and transmitter site technical maintenance tasks as needed Component level equipment repair as skills and learning curves permit Studio documentation updates as skills and learning curves permit Other duties as assigned 

Minimum Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); two years of related experience; a commitment to provide excellent customer service; and effective communication skills required.
