The Brand Writer will be an integral part of the Corporate Communications team within Amplify’s Marketing & Public Affairs Department. This contract position involves developing compelling messaging and content in collaboration with marketing and communications teams to promote the Amplify brand, enhance our digital presence, and drive user engagement.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Draft and produce a variety of content, including articles, reports, blog posts, brochure copy, and web copy for brand initiatives.
  • Develop internal communications for company announcements, ensuring alignment with Amplify’s tone and messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality content on time.
  • Ensure consistency in Amplify’s brand voice by adhering to brand guidelines, in-house style, and editorial standards.
  • Edit and proofread marketing materials for clarity, consistency, and alignment with Amplify’s style guide. 
  • Review and correct collateral for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
  • Use word processing tools and specialized software to track changes and ensure the accuracy of final drafts. 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with advanced proofreading and editing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise with word processing and project management software
  • Experience creating copy across channels in technology, journalism, or education sectors
  • Experience working with researchers to develop insights and recommendations
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively

Compensation:
The hourly rate range for this role is $75/hour for 10.5 hours/week.
