Associate Manager of Operations Full Description

*This is a hybrid position, located in our Westbury, NY office.
Jenzabar is seeking an Associate Manager of Operations to join our Finance team. The Associate Manager of Operations plays a key role in supporting the service delivery and business development teams to drive business growth and help optimize company profits. The Associate Manager of Operations will also identify and improve processes to help monitor growth and be able to effectively lead a team of operation associates. 

Essential Tasks
  • Serve as primary liaison between client strategy, business development, and finance regarding all aspects of service delivery
  • Track and manage digital media campaign budgets
  • Manage traditional media placement with the VP of Finance, Spark Leadership or appropriate contact on the Jenzabar Finance team
  • Handle all aspects of vendor management including vendor selection and coordination
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and actionable insights for management and the Jenzabar Finance team upon request
  • Verify customer invoicing, performed by the Jenzabar Billing team, is complete and accurate per contractual terms
  • Provide accurate and timely information for monthly finance closes
  • Review contract proposals in a timely manner while ensuring amounts align with the company’s minimum pricing guide
  • Create Statements of Work upon request in a timely manner
  • Enter Sales Orders in NetSuite accurately and timely
  • Initiate customer cancellation process by coordinating with Jenzabar Revenue and Legal teams
  • Review and approve vendor invoices in accordance with projects
  • Identify improvements and implement changes to make the forecast process more effective
  • Manage and mentor a team of production and operation associates/analysts
  • Assist with the review and calculation of commission payouts

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience required
  • 1 year of team lead / management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (MBA or master’s is a plus)
  • Experienced user of finance and operations software systems
  • Analytical thinker who is adept at financial modeling, setting profitability targets, and implementing operational improvements
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), Google Sheets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – including presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with fellow team members, employees, and management
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Proven ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality and autonomy
  • This person will show strong attention to detail skills as well as ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly

The pay range for this position is $70,000-85,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for staff bonus in addition to a full range of benefits.
