About the Role:
The Assistant Publisher oversees a group of journals, evaluates program performance against company goals, manages editor performance, and maintains relationships with scientific editors and board members.

How you will make an impact:
  • Content Growth: Achieve targets for submissions, acceptances, and publications. 
  • Editor Management: Oversee and support scientific editors through regular engagement, feedback collection, and performance reviews.
  • Contractual Relationships: Negotiate and manage editor contracts, set targets, rotate editors as needed, and assist with editor appointments.
  • Reporting: Provide timely updates to the Director and Senior Director.
  • Publishing Partner Relationships: Manage straightforward publishing partner agreements and assist with contract renewals.
  • Collaboration: Support external reporting, publishing services, and business development by working across publishing units.
  • Project Management: Deliver project management and research support, including data analysis and preparing documents for renewals and new opportunities.
