As an Associate Science Curriculum Designer at IXL, you’ll help design engaging questions and collaborate with curriculum designers and visual designers to achieve our educational goals. Your strong writing skills, creative problem solving, educational insights, project management skills, and commitment to quality will make personalized learning a reality for millions of students. #li-hybrid

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Write clear, engaging K-12 science questions and explanations for IXL.com
Design engaging K-8 science worksheets for Education.com
Ensure questions and explanations are scientifically correct
Collaborate with illustrators, graphic designers, and other curriculum designers to deliver high-quality science content
Research and review IXL's alignment to educational standards, common assessments, and popular textbooks
Oversee the localization of IXL’s U.S. science content for other countries
Write alt text for visually-impaired learners

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor’s in a scientific field required
K-12 science teaching or tutoring experience
Ability to work across multiple scientific disciplines such as life science, earth science, physical science, and engineering
Excellent writing ability
Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
Can-do attitude with an openness to others' ideas
Highly self-motivated and efficient with superb attention to detail
