What You’ll Do
Job Responsibilities:
A critical part of this role is to adhere to the Clinical Manager Manual as well as the duties outlined below. Please note that Parallel can make adjustments to job responsibilities at any time.

The cornerstone of this job is supplying provider and clinical services oversight:Provider mentorship, coaching, and clinical support to assigned portfolio of providers; including providing corrective feedback, individual case consultation and developing and sharing resources
  • Responsible for supporting the performance flagging system in order to proactively develop and performance manage providers; primarily utilizing our flagging system, timely intervention with providers who need course-correction and strong inter-departmental communication to stay on top of budding and ongoing issues
  • Addressing any provider flag actions must be taken within two business days
  • Own the clinical relationship with our school partners; including the school’s experience with Parallel providers, understanding how the district works, and ensuring providers are ready and equipped to meet the needs of their district
    • Measurement of success in this area is the customer NPS
  • Respond to provider emails and phone calls within one business day

Build a community for providers through engagement, professional development, talent acquisition, and staffing strategies:
  • Assist Parallel’s talent team in recruiting and hiring new providers, including reviewing case studies within 2 business days, interviewing W2 candidates to screen for suitability, and attending conferences to connect with providers and generate hiring leads
  • Host team office hours three times a week, where providers can come to ask questions and/or socialize
  • Own and facilitate provider monthly meetings; including collaborating with OTT to develop the agenda as well as any content and presentations for the meeting
  • Orient and train new service providers on Parallel processes and procedures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify needs, develop relevant content, and facilitate ongoing professional development; in particular, partner with OTT to provide SME consultation and training materials for the onboarding and ongoing development of our providers
  • Respond to staffing assignments within one business day

Support Parallel’s overall operations and business strategies as a clinical expert:Provide input on operational policy and procedures related to utilization, time tracking and project management from the perspective of a subject matter expert
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Team to drive the implementation and delivery of clinical services
  • Provide sales support when Revenue Team needs a clinical expert on a sales call
  • Partner with Technology Team to develop Parallel’s platform and other technology solutions to improve our services and service delivery  
  • Support other cross functional teams (operations, finance, product, sales, customer success) with day to day needs; including billing for services, scheduling, caseload management
  • Work with Provider Operations team to resolve provider inquiries, responding to tickets within 2 business days and provider billing issues within one business day

Collaborate cross-functionally with Parallel's Marketing team:
  • Review and contribute to the development of sales-enablement materials such as case studies, white papers, and program brochures
  • Assist in the development and planning of promotional materials and events to support marketing initiatives to engage target audiences and promote services
  • Write content for Parallel’s blog and social media outlets 
  • Provide briefings or Q&A sessions for the Marketing team to ensure an accurate understanding of clinical services
  • Act as a subject matter expert to provide insights on clinical best practices, trends, and program highlights that resonate with our target audiences (e.g., Special Education Directors, Behavioral and Mental Health Therapists)
