About the Opportunity
Join our Solutions Consulting Team as an Associate Solutions Consultant to leverage your 5+ years of higher ed experience and understanding of how the financial aid process works and promotes student success. You will have a solid working knowledge of the Banner Financial Aid system. You'll partner with sales to identify customer needs, demonstrate Ellucian solutions, and drive revenue. As a product expert, you'll help institutions envision success and position Ellucian as a key driver of student achievement.
Where You Will Make an Impact
- Understand the unique needs of higher education institutions and communicate the value of Ellucian solutions through remote and onsite discovery and demonstrations.
- Participating in strategic discovery calls to build relationships and uncover customer pain points, process gaps, and business needs.
- Establish credibility as a Banner Financial Aid subject matter expert with institutional staff, administrators, and decision-makers.
- Delivering tailored virtual and in-person solution demonstrations aligned with customer needs and sales strategy.
Represent Ellucian at national and regional user group meetings and industry conferences.
What you will bring
- 5+ years of experience in higher education administration or pre-sales, ideally in the financial aid office.
- Hands-on expertise with the Banner Financial Aid system is required.
- Strong understanding of current trends and challenges in higher education.
- Passion for learning and adapting in a fast-paced, SaaS-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to clearly communicate complex concepts.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, follow through on commitments, and act with urgency when needed.
