This position is funded by State Compensatory Education funds. The primary purpose is to maintain data for students in at-risk programs for the purpose of tracking growth as compared to closing academic gaps between students who are at-risk and the general population.

Design and produce weekly reports for state compensatory education program
Analyze data for program effectiveness and collaborate to present data regarding program effectiveness
Track growth measures on BOY, MOY, EOY, and Interims as needed
Compile student academic information for intervention program
Maintain database of students active in the RTI program

THIS POSITION MAY PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE SCE PROGRAM. DUTIES THIS POSITION MAY NOT PERFORM:

Duties related to testing, such as test administration
Perform legislatively mandated duties or activities that are specifically allocated to a regular education position in the Texas Education Code
Activities or duties that would supplement anything other than the regular education program, such as parent/family liaison

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree AND
Advanced Excel skills
Three (3) years of relevant experience with data analysis

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient with Access or similar database program
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Effective customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience in developing reports and/or dashboards
Texas Residency
Ability to pass background check
