Job Summary
The Athletics Learning Specialist will have the significant opportunity of providing direct support to neurodiverse student-athletes as they transition to and matriculate through the University. Responsibilities include developing goals and establishing objectives with student-athletes; conducting individual and small group training sessions related to strategies for academic success; implementing academic support plan using active learning strategies and assistive technology as dictated by specific students’ needs; and contributing to education and professional development of CATS staff, tutors and mentors on learning strategies for neurodiverse student-athletes.
Must be able to comply with all SEC, University and NCAA rules and regulations.
