Job Description Summary:
The Legal Training and Development Senior Coordinator supports all aspects of attorney training and continuing legal education (CLE) at the firm. This role involves planning and coordinating legal training programs, managing CLE compliance, and administering the firm’s Learning Management System (viDesktop). The coordinator works closely with attorneys, practice groups, and administrative teams across the firm.
This position can be based in any of our U.S. office locations and offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work both from home and at your designated Fenwick office. The frequency of in-office work will be determined by business needs and guided by your department's directives.
Job Description:
Attorney Training and Development
- Provide logistical support for attorney trainings, summer associate trainings, Fenwick University programs, and new hire orientation.
- Liaise with the A/V and IT teams for technical setup, recording, and distribution of training content.
- Maintain training records in LMS, Smartsheet and iManage; ensure accurate data entry in master spreadsheets.
- Monitor department inbox and respond to training-related inquiries.
- Draft and distribute weekly and monthly training newsletters.
- Assist with meeting agendas and department calendars.
- Assist with other special projects as needed.
CLE Management
- Serve as one of the CLE liaisons for firmwide internals programs, including obtaining CLE accreditation as needed.
- Coordinate CLE logistics, including reviewing materials, sign-in sheets, evaluations, certificates, and follow-ups, and maintain records.
- Support attorney CLE compliance by using tracking software, responding to inquiries, and helping attorneys source CLE opportunities to meet requirements.
- Support compliance audits when needed.

Reporting to the Legal Training & Development Manager, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm setting. Experience with Learning Management Systems, preferably viDesktop; Familiarity with CLE compliance (California, Washington, and New York preferred); Bachelor’s degree required.

The anticipated range for this position is:
$76,000 - $107,500
Depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance. Additional information about employee eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonus will be made available upon request.
