Missouri State University is hiring an Autism Resource Specialist (Remote from Kansas City, St. Louis or Central Missouri). The specialist consults with and trains school-based multidisciplinary teams on assessing and supporting students with autism spectrum disorder. Working through Project ACCESS, the role also develops professional development sessions and instructional resources for teachers, administrators, and para-educators statewide.

Deliver professional development and training to teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
Create written, graphic, and multimedia resources for use in school settings.
Advocate for research-supported, evidence-based autism interventions in program and behavior support plan design.
Support the development of Individualized Education Plans for students with autism.
Master's degree in education, psychology, applied behavior analysis, or a related field required.
5+ years of experience working with individuals with autism, including at least 2 years in an educational setting.
