The AVP, Global Head of People Services provides strategic and operational leadership for ETS’s global People Services function, ensuring a consistent, high-quality employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for designing, scaling, and continuously improving global people operations, systems, and service delivery models that support ETS’s mission, transformation, and expanding global footprint.
As a key member of the People leadership team, this leader partners closely with People COEs (e.g., Talent Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Consulting, HR Technology), business leaders, and regional stakeholders to deliver efficient, compliant, and employee-centered people services worldwide. The role balances enterprise-wide strategy with hands-on execution, driving operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and service innovation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Global People Services Strategy & Leadership
Set the vision and strategy for global People Services, aligning service delivery, operating models, and priorities with ETS’s business strategy and People roadmap.
- End-to-End Employee Lifecycle Operations
Oversee global people operations across onboarding, employee data management, employee changes, mobility support, offboarding, and employee inquiries, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and positive employee experience.
- Service Delivery & Operating Model Excellence
Design and optimize scalable service delivery models (shared services, regional hubs, vendor partnerships) that balance efficiency, quality, and responsiveness across geographies.
- Systems, Data & Process Optimization
Lead continuous improvement of HR systems, workflows, and data integrity, partnering with People Technology and Finance to ensure strong governance, automation, and analytics.
- Global Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure People Services operations comply with applicable employment laws, data privacy regulations, and internal controls across all regions in partnership with Legal and HR Consulting.
- People Leadership & Capability Building
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global People Services team, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
- Stakeholder Partnership & Advisory
Serve as a trusted partner to People leaders, business executives, and regional teams, providing operational insight, issue resolution, and change leadership during periods of growth and transformation.
- Vendor & Cost Management
Oversee vendor relationships and budgets related to People Services, ensuring strong performance, cost discipline, and value realization.
- Employee Experience & Change Enablement
Champion employee experience improvements, using feedback, data, and design thinking to simplify processes and support adoption of new ways of working.

Experience and Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 12+ years of progressive HR/People experience, including leadership of global people operations or shared services
- Demonstrated experience scaling People Services in complex, global organizations
- Strong knowledge of global employment practices, HR systems, and service delivery models
- Proven ability to lead large, distributed teams and manage change in matrixed environments
- Strong analytical, operational, and executive communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in education, professional services, or global mission-driven organizations
- Background supporting organizational transformation or post-acquisition integration
- Experience leveraging HR technology and automation to improve service delivery

- The base salary range advertised represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base pay is only one aspect of the Total Rewards Package that will be offered to the successful candidate.
