Job Description

SUMMARY: Learning Hub is an innovative online learning platform tailored for the homeschool market. Operating on a freemium model, we aim to expand our user base from 500 to 30,000 monthly active users over the next 18 months by enhancing user engagement, retention, and monetization.

We are seeking a B2C Product Manager to take ownership of the consumer product roadmap, guiding Learning Hub’s evolution from concept to adoption and ensuring its success in the homeschool market. This role requires a deep commitment to understanding customer needs, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across Product, UX, Engineering, Curriculum, and Go-To-Market teams. You will drive the platform’s growth by refining the freemium-to-premium conversion funnel, enhancing user engagement and personalization, and ensuring a seamless product experience that resonates with homeschool families.

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Lead the B2C product roadmap, aligning it with business goals, customer insights, and competitive market analysis.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across departments to center decisions on customer needs and prioritize features that enhance user engagement, drive outcomes, and increase revenue.
  • Balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives to drive product development in a structured and efficient manner.
  • Customer & Market Insights: Deeply understand the homeschool audience by conducting user research, hands-on testing, and regular engagement with families and educators.
  • Anticipate user challenges and proactively deliver solutions that create value and reduce friction in the learning experience.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, monitoring competitors and emerging technologies to ensure Learning Hub remains innovative and competitive.
  • User Engagement & Monetization: Own and optimize the freemium-to-paid conversion funnel, identifying ways to increase premium feature adoption.
  • Work with UX Designers and Researchers to refine user flows, ensuring simplicity and clarity in every interaction.
  • Leverage gamification, social learning, and AI-powered personalization to increase engagement and retention.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the cross-functional bridge between teams including Engineering, UX, and Marketing, ensuring seamless product execution from ideation to market launch by providing critical context and appropriate levels of detail for the broader team to succeed in delighting users. Communicate clear product plans and development timelines, ensuring all teams are aligned on goals, milestones and end-to-end readiness.
  • Facilitate the entire product lifecycle, from strategy and development to launch, performance analysis, and continuous iteration.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) related to user engagement, retention, conversion, and satisfaction.
  • Implement a continuous data-driven improvement cycle: gather insights, implement enhancements, measure outcomes, and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Regularly assess customer feedback, conduct A/B tests, and iterate based on real-world usage data.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Five (5) years’ experience in B2C product management, ideally in edtech, SaaS, or consumer applications.
  • Ability to clear the required background check

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven ability to drive engagement and monetization in a freemium or subscription-based business through a product-led growth model.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience integrating qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, working with engineering, UX, marketing, and sales teams

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level.  Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections.  Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. 

We anticipate the salary range to be $84,457.50 - $171,715.20.  Eligible employees may receive a bonus.  This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors.  These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
