The Position  | Applications are currently being accepted for Accounting Supervisor in the Special Funds department of the Finance and Business Services Division, located at the District Office.

This position will play a key role in supporting the successful execution and ongoing implementation of Measure HH bonds, ensuring that its objectives are effectively integrated into departmental operations and aligned with organizational goals. This is a restricted position and may continue contingent upon grant funding. The position may continue, based upon renewal of funding.

Hours are Monday – Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department’s needs.

Desired Qualifications  | Any combination of training and experience equivalent to: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and at least five years of increasingly responsible, professional level work experience, including two years of supervisory experience.

The following are preferred but not required: Experience in construction, projects, and cost accounting. Highly proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables; and PeopleSoft Accounting software experience is a plus. Experience in Bond Measures. Effective communication skills with strong attention to detail.
