The Position  | Applications are currently being accepted for Bond Program District Office Accounting Specialist in the Special Funds department of the Finance and Business Services Division, located at the District Office. Hours are Monday – Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department’s needs.

This is a restricted position, which means it is funded for a specific period. The role is supported by a $3.5 billion bond with an anticipated duration of 10-15 years. While the position may be extended if funding is renewed, continuation is not guaranteed.

Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor.

Desired Qualifications  | The following are preferred but not required:

Experience in construction, projects, and interpreting contracts and schedules. Highly proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables; and PeopleSoft Accounting software experience is a plus. Experience in Bond Measures. Effective communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Foreign Degree:  | Applicants with foreign degrees from colleges or universities outside of the United States must have their coursework evaluated by a professional association that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or Academic Credentials Evaluation Institute, INC.(ACEI). A copy of the evaluation must be submitted with your online application.
