Budget Administrator - Liberal Studies, Office of the Dean Full Description

Position Summary: 
Arts & Science is seeking a talented Budget Administrator to join the Office of the Dean in Liberal Studies. This individual will administer various budget and financial support functions for Liberal Studies administration. The financial responsibility for this position includes LS operating budgets, and internally and externally funded projects. Manage fiscal and payroll transactions and ensure budgets are within limits. Advise faculty and staff on federal, state, University and School fiscal guidelines and requirements and ensure compliance. Work with the Associate Dean and/or Assistant Director to develop strategies to meet program goals. 

Qualifications: 
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related area.

Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination. Must include budget administration and planning.

Preferred Experience:
3+ years experience working in Higher Education or non-profit organization.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong analytical and organizational skills. Strong ability to use Excel, database software, workflow systems, Google Office Apps, and standard MS office software. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with a diverse population at all levels. Ability to supervise staff. 

Additional Information: 
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $75,000.00. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
