Posting Title: Busch School Marketing Outreach and Initiative Coordinator Overview: 

The Outreach and Initiatives Coordinator for the Busch School of Business plays a pivotal role in enhancing the school's visibility, attracting prospective students, and fostering strong relationships with external stakeholders. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a range of outreach programs and strategic initiatives designed to promote the Business School's academic programs, faculty expertise, and unique value proposition - integrating business, faith, and virtue. The Coordinator will work closely with admissions, marketing, faculty, local high schools and their stakeholders, and alumni relations to achieve enrollment goals, strengthen community engagement, and elevate the school's reputation within the higher education landscape and the broader Brookland and Catholic communities.
 
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: up to $70,000.

Responsibilities: 
  • Promote the Busch School of Business and increase brand awareness among high school teachers, advisors, high-school aged students and their parents.
  • Create and execute comprehensive yield plans with Busch School undergraduate programs and the Office of Undergraduate Admission.
  • Coordinate with Admissions and Busch School Marketing and Outreach to help students apply to Catholic University and the Busch School of Business.
  • Act as a relationship manager for Catholic high schools and coordinate their visits to the Catholic University campus in DC.
  • Maintain the database of all partner and prospective schools and begin tracking prospective University students at each school.
  • Participate in a comprehensive training program to integrate with the Enrollment Management and Busch School teams with a focus on cross-training in Advancement strategies and processes.
  • Support, articulate, and represent Catholic University’s mission, academic offerings, student life, research opportunities, athletics offerings, etc., to prospective students and their families.
  • Assist the admissions counselors by amplifying the Busch School’s presence and reach into key markets and select high schools.
  • Begin planning for a possible Busch School high school summer program.
  • Support efforts to engage prospective students by sharing your personal experience with The Catholic University of America.
  • Work with University Marketing, School Marketing and Outreach, and Undergraduate Admissions teams to identify high-value college fairs, admissions events, conferences, and prospective student engagement opportunities as requested.
  • Provide student-centered customer service at every opportunity via in-person, email, and phone correspondence with prospective students and families.
  • Advocate for students to submit applications and follow up on applications to help improve yield.
  • Present as directed to prospective parents, teachers, and school leaders.
  • Log student and family connections and review performance metrics (primarily school visits and numbers of applications).
  • Assist with networking events to help advance the university’s priorities.

 Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 0-2 years of experience in a recruiting or marketing role.
  • Expert user of Microsoft and Google Suite tools and website tools. Proficiency in social media and communications.
  • Strong analytical and communications skills. 
  • Ability to professionally represent The Catholic University of America and the Busch School of Business in outside events with community and business leaders. 
  • Extreme attention to detail. 
  • High capacity for work and juggling tasks.
