Position Description 
Advertised Job Summary  | The South Carolina APEX Accelerator is seeking to hire a Business Administrative Manager to join our team.

As a team member within the SC APEX, the Business Administrative Manager serves a key role in implementing the SC APEX grant objectives. Supports the APEX team with tracking and measurement for the PTAC as it supports clients in becoming contractors with the federal government. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Business Administrative Manager leads the administrative functions of the program including reporting and monitoring client metrics. Additionally, this position will support workshop planning and implementation. This is a grant-funded position subject to ongoing yearly grant renewal. The Business Administrative Manager is part of a small but important office essential to the economic growth of South Carolina companies. This position requires experience working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Job Duty  |  In partnership with the Program Manager and APEX Manager, will develop program and Counselor goals in alignment with Department of Defense (DOD) requirements. Regularly monitors programmatic and Counselor progress towards meeting or exceeding established annual metrics and thresholds. Manages relationships between Counselors and clients. Advises clients on available government contracting opportunities (i.e. processing SAM.GOV registration, socio-economic certification applications, and marketing to government and prime contractors). Facilitates the intake process for new clients. Processes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for client usage and DOD requirements. Maintains and updates standard operating procedures for all programmatic requirements. Serves as the primary point of contact for internal/external stakeholders.
