  • Serve as primary liaison between Financial Aid, IT, and external vendors translating federal, state, institutional, and donor aid requirements into system solutions.
  • Analyze business needs and regulatory requirements; design and enhance student information system (SIS) functionality using project management and SDLC methodologies.
  • Own and provide subject matter expertise on financial aid SIS modules including packaging, awarding, disbursement, compliance tracking, and integrations.
  • Plan, implement, test, and document system enhancements in coordination with IT focusing on performance, security, data integrity, and integration.
  • Lead testing efforts for system updates and communicate impacts and risks to leadership.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex financial aid reports, dashboards, and data extracts for operational, audit, compliance, and executive decision-making purposes.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and support communication for new or modified systems and processes.
  • Monitor regulatory and industry changes impacting financial aid processing and compliance; lead relevant system or workflow changes.
  • Represent Financial Aid on institutional committees related to SIS, reporting, data governance, ensuring data privacy and security best practices.
  • Education required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination; preferred fields include technology-related disciplines.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in IT project leadership, data systems analysis, or advanced report writing using at least three relevant tools or languages such as PL/SQL, SQL, Argos, HTML, ASP, XML, Grails, Oracle tools.
  • Preferred experience with Ellucian Banner, ODS/EDW, web development, and supervisory roles; higher education experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and multi-project management skills needed; ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Annual salary: $55,890.
