Business Product Manager-1 Full Description

Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Business Product Manager to lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of products that drive measurable business outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, user needs, and technical execution—ensuring that products are aligned to organizational priorities and deliver meaningful value to customers and stakeholders.

Product Management focuses on establishing the strategic vision and defines the road map for product offerings including: Clearly articulating business value of new products and defines products' target market; responsible for the life cycle of products, including concept, specification, launch, adoption, and performance; overseeing customer research and engagement for gathering feedback and determining product requirements; working

  • Strategic Vision and Roadmap: Establish and articulate the strategic vision for curriculum products, defining the roadmap to achieve business goals.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept, specification, and launch to adoption and performance, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance.
  • Customer Research and Engagement: Conduct customer research and engagement activities to gather feedback and determine product requirements, ensuring user-centric design and functionality.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement innovative strategies that drive revenue growth and market penetration for both new and existing curriculum products.
  • Engagement Tactics: Develop and execute engagement tactics such as loyalty programs, referral programs, and personalized user experiences to enhance user retention and satisfaction.
Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; technical or instructional technology background preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in product management, business analyst, or related role
  • Deep knowledge of K-12 education market
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in cross-functional environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to inform decisions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Product board)
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong understanding of user engagement strategies and tactics.
·      Proven success driving change management for new product features among existing customers
Certificates and Licenses: None required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  
·      Prior experience developing education technology products
·      Experience developing data products and working with AI services and architecture frameworks

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. 
  • We anticipate the salary range to be $84,457.00 - $95,000.00 per year. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
