Advertised Job Summary
The program manager will support the development, implementation, and growth of two major university initiatives: the Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Clinic, an interdisciplinary center focused on clinical care, training, and research, and the Neurodiverse Student Support Initiative, a campus-wide effort to enhance services, accessibility, and outcomes for students with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape inclusive, sustainable programs that impact both the university and the broader community by working closely with clinical faculty, administrators, trainees, students, and community partners. Responsibilities include planning and launching initiatives; developing workflows, referral systems, and outreach efforts; coordinating student-facing programs and trainings; providing direct services as needed; supporting research and clinical integration; facilitating grants and compliance activities; managing project timelines, communications, and evaluation; tracking outcomes; and ensuring alignment and collaboration across departments, student services, and university units under the direction of the Clinical Director.


Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 5 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in psychology, education, public health, social work, disability studies, speech-language pathology or a related field.
  • Experience working in a university clinic setting.
  • Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), inclusive pedagogy, or neurodiversity- affirming care.
  • Experience coordinating interdisciplinary teams or projects.
  • Experience working with non-profit or other community-facing centers
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the respective field. (Post-doctoral fellows in psychology will be considered)
  • Research experience

  • Proficiency in basic computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
