Position Summary:       | Provide all technical support for the Unix and Linux servers and their functions, including Luminis. Administer the YUMS email system.

Position Responsibilities: | Maintain and support the Unix and Linux serversMonitor server performance and plan for enhancements to the server environmentMonitor and support the Linux-based email systemProvide administrative support for Luminis, the web portal productMaintain the database for the provisioning and deprovisioning of computer accountsCommunicate with the department manager for daily and strategic assignments updates. Review short and long-term objectivesMaintain detailed documentation of all system componentsParticipate in scheduled meetings, address new and recurring issues, and Target areas in need of attentionDevelop and maintain services, provide continuous service improvement, and analyze industry trends, review records, procedures, and duty rosters
Experience & Educational Background: | Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred 5+ years of UNIX administration experience2 + years working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
