Scope of Job | To coordinate the placement of students in clinics as well as monitor educational success. Responsible for coordination of relationship between the School of Podiatric Medicine, clinical agencies, and students and the coordination of the placement of students in relation to the clinical experiences required.
Description of Duties | Interacts with the hospital administrators, clinic managers, and health providers to coordinate student onboarding. Develops a plan for clinical experience for each student placement. Reviews credentialing requirements for rotation sites through affiliation agreements and direct contact, identifying actionable items for students. Coordinates the onboarding experience of students for their credentialing and placement at rotation sites. Communicates rotation requirements to students and ensures that they are prepared in the correct timeframe. Assists with the development and supervision of clinical schedules for the clinical education program. Coordinates the placement of students. Interacts with faculty and clinical personnel to facilitate communication between agencies and the School. Completes comprehensive reports of activities. Assists with the coordination of orientations, events and communications. Establishes new student placement contracts and establishing letters of agreement with agencies as directed by the faculty. Performs accreditation site visit to monitor student activities at clinical sites. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education | Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Preferred Education | Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Biology, Health Science or related field from an accredited university.

Required Experience | Two (2) years professional experience in a healthcare setting or related environment.
Preferred Experience | N/A
Equipment | Use of standard office equipment.
Working Conditions | Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Office Environment; some travel and weekend work is required.
